I'm a 30-something control freak trying to cope with a life that hasn't gone according to plan - well, my plan at any rate. When I finally met my Prince Charming (hereafter referred to as C), we couldn't wait to start our family. We dreamed of all the creative ways we would tell our parents the good news...until reality came crashing in on us. Since then, we've travelled a long road of infertility treatments and tears. Every shot was worth it, though, because we now are parents to the sweetest twins on the planet! They made their appearance on Father's Day, which couldn't be more fitting.
The last few years have been long and hard for us. We've lost a lot of dignity along the way, but at least we were laughing as it left. Not to mention, we're learning so much - God's plans are so much richer than our own, and already we can see He had something incredible planned all along. (Two special somethings, in fact!)
"You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock." ~ Isaiah 26:3-4

The same exact thing happened to me when I joined FB... Now it seems like everyone I know on there from school is a fertile myrtle.. Just isn't fair.. ((HUGS))
